Since every step—design, cutting, sewing, and finishing—is done by hand, our production is limited.
These are not mass-produced pieces; many are one-of-a-kind. Most items are made from individual
vintage kimonos and obis, each with its own unique pattern. For this reason, we can usually create only 1 to 3 items from a single kimono or obi. However, when using
kimono fabric rolls or Japanese cotton fabrics, similar designs may be reproduced in slightly larger quantities.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello, I'm Kazue West, a Japanese-New Yorker with a lifelong passion for crafting. I was first introduced to sewing by my mother, while my grandmother taught me the art of embroidery and knitting. Inspired by my deep appreciation for kimonos and their exceptional fabrics,
I began designing women's handbags in 2000. Since then, my work has become known for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Each handbag I create features a unique and captivating design—infused with history, tradition, and heart.
